FOR SUBMITTING SONGS TO BE MIXED:

The best way to send your multi-track session files to Full Frequency Studio is to send the individual tracks in WAV or AIFF format (don't change the sample rate or bit rate), and all the tracks should be consolidated from the starting point of the session. Please label each file correctly (example Vocal, Kick, Bass, .etc) this makes it a lot easier when discussing possible edits for the project.

Effects such as compression, reverb etc should be removed from the tracks and sent dry. If you feel the effects are essential to the intended sound then leave them on. It can be very useful to include notes on how you want the track to sound and even by supplying your own rough mix to us so we can get an impression of the general balance you are looking for.

Once you hear the mix, there may be some things you want to change about it. Simply call or email us with your change requests and we will make those changes and send you another updated mix. This process goes on until we have finished the mix until you are 100% satisfied. This is all included in our flat rate. No hidden charges or fees.

Once your mix is complete, we will upload them to you online for your approval, or we can begin mastering them for you.

FOR SUBMITTING TRACKS TO BE MASTERED:

Files should be in WAV or AIFF format and should not have been converted to a lesser quality (ex. resolution or sample rate). Please do not send us MP3 versions! Your files should be as raw as possible please send with with no effects, compression or maximization. It helps to ensure no plug-ins used have over-leveled at any point and the file sent has had no channels touching the red, and 6db or so of headroom on the finished file is essential to allow us to do our thing and obtain the best possible audio result. Please also don’t use any compression or other effects on the master out on your desk and ensure no clipping occurs as both of these things will negatively impact how much the mastering engineer will be able to improve your recordings.
